Our Mission

To contribute towards creating a conducive economic and business environment in Northern Ekurhuleni and beyond, as well as providing services specifically relevant to small and large business in the region.

Chambers of Commerce are institutions known throughout the world and they have an important status, both within the country as well as outside.  It is therefore possible for the Chamber of Commerce to achieve things which would be impossible for an individual trader to achieve on his own.

It is necessary for every businessman to contribute to society and particularly to the business environment in which he finds himself.  This cannot be done in any better way than to participate actively in the affairs of one’s local Chamber of Commerce, by serving on its committee’s and by exchanging views and experiences at Business Luncheons and Networking Events.

Membership of a Chamber of Commerce enables the businessman to play an active role in formulating Government economic policy as well as shaping economic conditions for the benefit of the whole country.

This can be achieved through your Chamber of Commerce.  If businessmen are to exercise any influence whatsoever over matters which affect them, it is necessary to join forces with their fellow businessman and where necessary, persuade them to put forward their point of view.

The Ekurhuleni North Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ENCCI) has been in existence since 1950, and is one of the oldest Chambers in South Africa.  Affiliated to the South African Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SACCI).

SACCI gives Chamber Members national access and credibility via BUSA, as well as the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).  Chamber Members benefit greatly by the Chamber’s affiliation to SACCI, enabling their voices to be heard nationally and internationally.
