Certificates of Origin Link to Rates and Rules
ENCOB issues documentary evidence of origin for goods exported from South Africa and for a variety of other export documentation – eg. Packing lists, commercial invoices as required by overseas buyers and foreign customs authorities. This service is provided under authority of SACCI in accordance with the provisions of international conventions. The authority imposes obligations on SACCI, and upon Chamber officers authorised to sign such evidence. Chambers of Commerce and Industries therefore issue Certificates of Origin according to uniform national procedures laid down by SACCI and the Department of Foreign Affairs.
